Joni Casey Receives Intermodal Industry鈥檚 Highest Honor
Former 探花精选 Chief Executive to be Presented with the 2025 Silver Kingpin Award
CALVERTON, MD (June 5, 2025)聽鈥� The 探花精选 is pleased to announce that Joni Casey, its previous president and CEO, will be honored with the 2025 Silver Kingpin Award during this year鈥檚 Intermodal EXPO, Sept. 15-17, in Long Beach, California.
During her 27-year tenure, 探花精选 grew its membership to more than 1,000; expanded the scale and scope of its Intermodal Information Services; and championed the university scholarship program now named for Casey. Prior to joining 探花精选, she was the executive director of the American Trucking Association鈥檚 Intermodal Council, and the president and CEO of the Transportation Intermediaries Association.聽
鈥淛oni left an indelible mark on the intermodal industry,鈥� said Anne Reinke, 探花精选鈥檚 president and CEO. 鈥淪he wasn鈥檛 just a remarkable association executive 鈥� she was a visionary who helped grow 探花精选鈥檚 Information Services. Her dedication and leadership will be remembered and felt throughout the industry for years to come.鈥�
The Silver Kingpin, started by the National Piggyback Association in 1977, recognizes an individual鈥檚 long-term contributions to intermodalism.
